Choate Hall & Stewart is a major law firm based in Boston, Massachusetts. The firm has over 300 attorneys and is well-respected in the legal community. Many reviews of the firm are positive, with many citing the high quality of lawyers and work/life balance as positives. Additionally, reviews note the benefits and 401K match are great, as well as the small culture which allows for a great deal of collaboration.

However, not all reviews are positive. Long workdays, high billable hours, lack of transparency, and no work life balance are some of the negatives mentioned. Additionally, while there may not be many outliers in terms of quality of people, there is a lack of collaboration and idea sharing across teams.
