BCG Attorney Search speaks with attorneys about law firms every day. Here is what attorneys are saying:

McDermott Will & Emery is a large international law firm with offices around the world. Reviews from attorneys and others who have worked at the firm suggest that it has a number of positive features, such as hybrid scheduling, good benefits, generous bonuses, and interesting cases. The office space is comfortable and the attorneys are intelligent and collegial. The culture is challenging and encourages teamwork. Additionally, the firm is located in a good location and pays well. These reviews suggest that McDermott Will & Emery is a great place to work.

However, there are some criticisms of the firm as well. Some reviewers report that there is micro-management, expensive benefits, and a lack of training and support. Additionally, there appears to be no job security or opportunity for advancement. There is also some evidence of favoritism among team members, and the partners are reported to talk down to and treat the accounting staff poorly. Finally, free snacks are provided, but they don't seem to be enough to offset the other negatives.

Based on the reviews, it appears that McDermott Will & Emery is a great place to work for those who like to work hard and don't mind the lack of job security and opportunity for advancement. The benefits, bonuses, and interesting cases make up for the micro-management and lack of training and support. However, those who are looking for stability and opportunity for growth may want to look elsewhere.
