Current or former employee?: Current Employee
Advice to law firm management: The LAA Manager needs to be replaced with someone who knows how to do the job well and knows about Labor and Employment laws. My advice to a new LAA - keep your own paper trail.
Pros: Benefits are good, and other staff are great
Cons: They used to be a great firm - very family oriented, and the culture was amazing. That has changed, and all employees feel it, making the environment very stressful and fearful.
Partners to Avoid and Why: Most of the partners (and attorneys) are great. They are all excellent attorneys, however, a VERY select few do not know about reciprocal loyalty and consider themselves themselves to be in a class above a LAA
Favorite Things About this Firm: What used to be, and what were when I left have been negated by the fact that they chose to do construction at an inopportune time, ran into constraints and as such, there have been no raises for 2 years.
