McPherson, Rocamora, Nicholson, Wilson & Hinkle, PLLC focuses its practice on trust and estate planning law and closely related areas including estate and trust administration, taxation law, charitable gift planning, long term care planning, elder law, special needs and disability law and business law.

As one of the first estate planning "boutique" firms in North Carolina, all of our partners are recognized by the North Carolina State Bar as Board Certified Specialists in Estate Planning and Probate Law. One of our attorneys is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC), an organization whose membership is by invitation only.

Our firm culture also emphasizes the quality, not the quantity, of the services we provide. Since its inception in 1997, the firm has been committed to providing the best possible representation for each of its clients. As a result, we have elected not to engage in a high volume practice which focuses on representing as many clients as possible.

We apply our expertise and experience to address the needs of our clients, and accomplish this by listening, asking questions, analyzing each client's particular circumstances and responding in a timely manner. As we help our clients reach their planning objectives, we engage in an intellectual process designed to yield the best possible results for each individual client. Through collaboration and a thoughtful analysis of available planning options, we are able to find creative and effective solutions to each client's unique problems or objectives.

When appropriate we take a multi-generational approach to planning, which often results in our working closely with successive generations of a family to make sure that long term goals are satisfied. We recognize that proper planning consists of more than just a few good ideas. It also requires careful attention and implementation, often over multiple generations. We believe that our duty consists not only of putting a thoughtful plan in place, but also requires that we work closely with our clients and their children (or other family members) to ensure that their long term objectives are realized.
