Donald M. Cislo (emeritus) and Charles H. Thomas (emeritus) started Cislo & Thomas LLP in 1979. Daniel M. Cislo joined the firm in 1987, and is currently the managing partner of the AV-rated intellectual property firm. An AV rating is the highest that can be achieved by the revered Martindale Hubble rating system. In addition, the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers lists Cislo & Thomas LLP among the top 5% of all law firms in the country. Daniel M. Cislo splits his time overseeing our Los Angeles, Westlake Village, Santa Barbara, Pasadena, Torrance, and San Diego offices, where the firm's attorneys and paralegals provide the highest quality of intellectual property service using its proprietary Quality Client Care? or QCC? approach.

At Cislo & Thomas LLP, we use a series of weekly meetings where all attorneys, paralegals and staff evaluate the past week's performance and determine how to better serve our clients, improve efficiency, and constantly enhance the quality of service we provide. In addition, these same attorneys must have real-world experience in business and in handling intellectual property litigation matters before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, as well as in the Federal and State Courts.
