Officially founded on July 1, 1987 as Becker, Glynn & Melamed, the Firm traces its roots to a predecessor firm, Fox Glynn & Melamed, founded in May 1968. Our founding partners shared a keen interest in international affairs and law. They set out to create a firm where lawyers worked collegially and clients received the highest quality legal representation.

Becker Glynn is perhaps unique among firms of its size in combining domestic and international practice. We provide general corporate counseling, regulatory advice and transactional representation of great variety, including mergers and acquisitions, finance, securities, and real estate acquisitions and leasing. We appear in bankruptcy courts in both adversarial and reorganization proceedings. We plan and administer multinational and domestic estates. Many businesses and families engage the Firm for its experience in international transactions and planning, particularly in representing clients doing business or investing outside their home countries.
