The partnership of Viering, Jentschura & Partner mbB was founded in 1976 by Hans-Martin Viering and Rolf Jentschura. Both are still standing by our clients with words and deeds. Currently, Mr. Jentschura is managing and guiding the firm together with all other partners.



In the meantime, VJP has become a worldwide operating patent and law firm with international experience. More than 180 employees advise our clients from various industrial sectors on legal issues and in all fields of natural science and technology in respect of the protection of intellectual property.



The headquarters of Viering, Jentschura & Partner mbB are located in Munich which is also where the firm was founded. The Bavarian metropolis is regarded as the European capital of patent law. This makes us benefit from short ways and close contacts to the German Patent and Trademark Office, the European Patent Office and the Federal Patent Court.

Due to our commitment in Asia VJP has acquired a significant advantage in knowledge in one of the most important international markets. We are happy to announce that the 2018 Global Award International Patent Law Firm of the Year in Singapore has been awarded to our firm by the Corporate International Magazine.
