Our Firm's History

After thirty-five years in the insurance industry, in 1985 Otis Nuckols retired from his position as Chief Executive Officer of Virginia Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company to team up with Ray Sinnott and found the law firm of Sinnott and Nuckols. In 1989 Kevin Logan, who was then Director of Claims at Virginia Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company, joined to create the firm of Sinnott, Nuckols & Logan, P.C.

Otis, Ray and Kevin were determined to provide the most cost-efficient, knowledgeable, and effective legal service possible to insurers and their insureds. The firm's mission remains the same today.
