The Allen Law Firm was founded by George E. Allen in 1910 in Lunenburg County. George moved his practice to Richmond in 1931, expanded his firm with the addition of his sons as partners, and there Allen & Allen quickly earned a reputation not only as a group of respected lawyers, but as a pillar of the community. Our Richmond location is also convenient to Circuit Courts hearing personal injury cases in the areas of Richmond, Henrico, Hanover, Chesterfield, Charles City, New Kent, Hopewell, Amelia, Powhatan, and Goochland. Richmond is the seat of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, located less than five miles from our Staples Mill Road office in the Robinson-Merhige Federal Courthouse on East Broad Street. Richmond is also the seat of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, located at the Lewis F. Powell Jr. Courthouse & Annex on East Main Street in Richmond, and only five miles from our Staples Mill Road office. Our Richmond office is one block east of the Shops at Willow Lawn and near the convergence of I-64, I-95, and I-195. Free on-site parking is available. The main entrance is at the back of the building and easily accessible from the parking lot.
