Crenshaw, Dupree & Milam, one of the largest law firms in West Texas, has been a staple in the area since its establishment in 1908 by attorney William H. Bledsoe. His vision of a legal practice was carried on by Charles C. Crenshaw, Sr., who partnered with Bledsoe in 1926 and was later joined by George W. Dupree in 1928. Just prior to Bledsoe's death in 1936, James H. Milam joined the firm, and the name Crenshaw, Dupree & Milam has been retained for more than half a century in honor of its founders. Located in Lubbock, Texas and with a second office in Hobbs, New Mexico, the firm has access to a wealth of legal knowledge and experience, in addition to research facilities at the Texas Tech University School of Law and Medical School. Crenshaw, Dupree & Milam serves a wide variety of clients, ranging from major national and international corporations and institutions, to local and regional individuals, businesses, and institutions.
