BCG Attorney Search speaks with attorneys about law firms every day. Here is what attorneys are saying:

Day Pitney is a large law firm with offices located across the United States. Reviews of the firm are largely positive, with many reviewers noting the professional and friendly atmosphere of the firm, as well as the great pay and hours. Reviewers also note that the attorneys at the firm are very smart and knowledgeable, and that the training provided by the firm is excellent. The reviewers also highlighted that the firm has a lot of long-term employees, and that the assignments provided are interesting and substantive.

However, there are some criticisms that have been noted by reviewers. Some have noted that there is a large firm structure in place which doesnt always work well for every practice, and that there is some inefficiency due to the number of attorneys and offices. There were also criticisms of the lack of billable work and litigation team support in South Florida, and that sometimes too many attorneys are assigned to one person, which can be overwhelming. Furthermore, reviewers noted that the management is not particularly helpful, and that there is no room for error. Finally, reviewers have noted that the compensation may be below market rate and that the amount of PTO provided is not sufficient for the demands placed on attorneys.

Overall, Day Pitney seems to have a good reputation among its reviewers. The majority of reviews are positive, with reviewers noting the great pay and hours, knowledgeable attorneys, and interesting assignments. However, there are still areas for improvement, particularly with regards to the large firm structure, lack of billable work and litigation team support in South Florida, and the management of the firm.
