In 1979, David and Eileen Echols founded the law firm of Echols & Associates. From the moment it was formed, the law firm focused on matrimonial law in the Oklahoma City Metro and surrounding areas. During her life, Judge Eileen Echols received countless recognitions for her legal expertise as a Special District Judge in Family Law and brought seasoned skills and a vast knowledge of family law to the firm. Similarly, David Echols has received numerous honors including his selection as a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. He has been well-regarded for many years as an Adjunct Professor of undergraduate and graduate family law courses, dovetailing his legal practice with presentations and many published articles, a number of which he co-authored with Eileen Echols.
