The firm was established on June, 1, 1980, by Dave Comstock, Larry Springer and Tom Wilson. Over the years, the firm has grown to its current size of nine active lawyers, a paralegal and ten full-time secretaries. One of the founders, Dave Comstock, is of counsel to the firm. The age and experience of the various lawyers permit the firm to provide clients with adequate and cost effective representation ranging from relatively simply, low-damage lawsuits to very complex and serious litigation.
Comstock, Springer & Wilson Co., LPA concentrates its practice in the area of civil litigation with heavy emphasis on defense. The firm is privileged to represent a number of insurance carriers, four local hospitals and several fire districts which demonstrates the broad range of civil trial practice ranging from automobile and casualty cases through arson, theft and medical malpractice. However, the firm does not limit itself strictly to corporate clients and has experienced some very successful results representing individual clients.
Three members of the firm have been inducted into the American College of Trial Lawyers and all members of the firm have been active in the local and state bar associations with two members having served on the Board of Governors of the Ohio State Bar Association. Several members of the firm also count active community involvement among their accomplishments.
