Founded in 1974, Dill and Dill began with Alan Dill's vision to create a law firm that exceeded the expectations of clients and focused on results that resonated across the state of Colorado. Through the 1970's, Alan worked diligently to promote the vision and to build a law firm that provided legal services in multiple areas of practice with a team of partners that shared his vision and passion for providing the best legal services.

? Robert Dill brought his extensive experience as a Deputy District Attorney with Arapahoe County and Staff Attorney with the Office of Legislative Drafting and Statute Revision to the law firm, allowing the strengths of the firm to broaden and expand.

? Dan Carr brought with him experience as a Deputy and Chief Deputy District Attorney for Adams County and allowed the firm to strengthen its criminal practice and broaden its complex litigation area of practice as well.

? Jon Stonbraker helped the firm build its hospitality, gaming and liquor licensing practice from scratch in the early 1980s, one client at a time. Mr. Stonbraker continues to represent numerous local and national licensing clients in Colorado and is a vital partner for the firm's licensing division.

? John "Jack" Hutchings brought with him experience with complex civil litigation, allowing the firm to further grow and expand its areas of practice.

Over the past 43 years, Alan, Bob, Dan, Jon and Jack have provided a consistent vision and direction for the firm. These partners have worked together to recruit other partners with like-minded passions and values that have helped promote and expand the mission of the firm ? pushing the boundaries of typical law firms and providing multiple areas of practice that make the firm unique and one-of-a-kind.
