The Hampton Roads Law Firm of John W. Lee, P.C. has six experienced lawyers on staff with a wide variety of legal expertise in bankruptcy, criminal, family and estate planning law. With over 70 years of combined legal experience, the attorneys at John W. Lee, P.C. are able to offer the highest level of service, reasonable attorneys' fees, quick turn around and excellent results. In 2002, John started the Law Office John W. Lee, P.C. in Hampton, VA. In 2006, the second location was opened in Virginia Beach. Since then, additional locations have been opened in Newport News, Chesapeake and Norfolk.

In many cases it will mean that we represent you in court, but in some cases we provide legal advice to solve the problem without litigation.

Our Legal Experience
The lawyers at John W. Lee, PC have over 70 years of combined legal experience. We have six attorneys on staff and five locations spread throughout Hampton Roads - Virginia Beach, Hampton, Newport News, Chesapeake and Norfolk. Our attorneys represent clients in all cities and counties in the Hampton Roads region.

Some lawyers offer to represent you via phone or mail, they will even conduct the initial consultation with a client over the phone. We believe a lawyer needs to meet with a client face-to-face before they go to court. Face-to-face meetings between a lawyer and a client help ensure there is no miscommunication. Of course, once our lawyer has met with you face to face, we will communicate with you from time to time via email or phone, but we feel it is very important for the lawyer to meet with his client in person in the beginning. If you live out of state, we will make an exception and conduct a phone meeting, but feel this is always the second best way to handle legal representation.

Our Beliefs
We believe everyone should be able to have an attorney represent them in court. There is an old saying that rings true far too often: "the man who represents himself in court has a fool for a lawyer." Today this is more accurate than ever, it is almost impossible to "cut through all the red tape" without an exceptional attorney by your side. We have successfully represented clients in areas of bankruptcy, divorce, criminal, defense, traffic law, child custody, child support and personal injury. Our attorneys offer a free initial consultation and payment plans on most legal matters.
