BCG Attorney Search speaks with attorneys about law firms every day. Here is what attorneys are saying:

ious areas of law quickly and be prepared to take on multiple cases at once. There is also not as much support staff as a larger firm, so you will have to do a lot of work yourself.

Bean, Kinney & Korman is a law firm located in Washington, D.C. that has had mixed reviews from attorneys and other employees who have worked there. The positive reviews have noted the attorneys as being some of the nicest they have worked with, as well as a great work-life balance and an incentive system to make up for the lack of pay. The office is also nice, with coffee and soda provided. On the other hand, the negative reviews have noted the pay could be a little better, as well as favoritism, nepotism, microaggressions, and small bonuses. Additionally, legal staff is warned to stay away from this place due to the hostility between attorneys and support staff.

The lack of support staff is also noted as a downside, as attorneys will need to be up to speed on various areas of law quickly and be prepared to take on multiple cases at once, as well as do a lot of work themselves without much help. Mentorship is also lacking, so attorneys will need to learn everything themselves and ask an equally non-trained attorney for advice.

Overall, while the attorneys at Bean, Kinney & Korman have been described as some of the nicest to work with and the work-life balance is great, the pay could be better and there is a lack of support staff and mentorship that could be improved. Legal support staff is warned to stay away from this place due to the hostility between attorneys and support staff.
