Our law firm is a limited liability partnership, managed largely by an elected Executive Committee. The committee members are Don Gribble, Scott Hill and Linda Parks. The firm relies heavily on Linda Parks, its managing partner, for day-to-day operational decisions. While Parks claims this means only that she "has the authority to pick out the firm Christmas card," in truth, the firm relies on her to to lead the firm in policymaking and in reaching consensus. Her business skills are invaluable in this position, and her dedication of time to the firm's administration is key to its success.
