Kelly, Rode & Kelly, LLP, established in 1956, is dedicated to providing quality legal representation to the policy holders of many of the largest insurance companies in the United States. We specialize in trial and appellate practice, in both state and federal court, in the fields of general negligence, construction accidents, premises liability, products liability, municipal liability and medical and hospital malpractice. We also provide coverage opinions to these same insurers and prosecute and defend declaratory judgment actions on their behalf.
Our goal is to provide effective and efficient legal representation in our areas of expertise. The team concept allows us to respond to varying client needs quickly and efficiently. Attorney case loads are strictly limited in size to assure quality work in every matter entrusted to us. We pride ourselves on getting to know our clients and tailoring our handling of matters to their needs.
Our firm's longevity, quality legal work and daily appearances in the courthouses in Nassau and Suffolk counties and the boroughs of New York City have earned us the respect of the bench and bar alike. We maintain offices in the county seats of both Nassau and Suffolk counties.

One of the partners is a Fellow of the prestigious American College of Trial Lawyers to which admittance is extended by invitation only to those trial lawyers who have demonstrated exceptional skills as advocates and whose professional careers have been marked by the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism and civility. Although there are currently approximately 5,000 Fellows across the United States and Canada, membership can never be more than 1% of the total lawyer population of any state or province.
