Mr. Weinstein has been in private practice since 1996. He has represented the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) as a Special Assistant Attorney General (SAAG) since 2001 and is a frequent presenter at the annual GDOT SAAG Continuing Legal Education Conference. In addition to his work with the GDOT, Mr. Weinstein works aggressively for property owners whose property has been condemned or is under threat of condemnation from counties, local governments and condemning authorities other than GDOT.
Mr. Weinstein has closed hundreds of real estate transactions and litigated hundreds of cases. He has been appointed and served as a Special Master in real estate cases in Forsyth County, GA. He has also represented local governments, lenders, brokers, agents, and small and large private property owners. He is a former professor of political science and law and an expert in real estate law and eminent domain law.
