#NAME?Working at Rutherford & Christie is not for everyone. The firm has a high billable requirements, offers no benefits (other than high premium health insurance) and has no team work, hybrid schedule, or flexibility. Favoritism is often reported, as well as poor overpaid support staff and constant turn over of associates. Management at the firm is also highly criticized. That being said, the firm does have some plus sides. Many have noted that it is possible to balance multiple projects simultaneously and that the partners are committed to the growth and development of their associates. Ultimately, it is up to the individual to decide if the pros outweigh the cons.

Pros: The firm is very much invested in your development as an attorney and thus, you will receive actual mentorship and guidance from some of the best. A very collaborative atmosphere where everyone wants everyone to succeed and get ahead. Partners will go out of their way to be there for you. This is no volume insurance defense mill churning through files- you will get exposure to high stakes and complex litigation, and the firm will let you participate as much as you want to - no one is parachuting in to take work from you. Pay and advancement outpace comparable firms in the area.
Cons: Nothing that is not present in any litigation firm- deadlines, billing, client reporting, etc. The ability to work remotely is available but must be earned.
