The Previant Law Firm, S.C. was founded in 1912 by Joseph Padway, a true pioneer in labor law. He acted as general counsel of the American Federation of Labor for a time and played a significant role in the development of many Wisconsin labor laws still on the books today. The breadth of our labor law practice is well known and recognized in the communities we serve. Over the decades, we have participated in federal and state appellate court proceedings, winning nine victories for union members in the United States Supreme Court. Our team of labor lawyers represents many of the largest labor unions in Wisconsin and throughout the Midwest.
