I am a 1999 graduate of the University of Nebraska with Honors and Distinction with a Bachelor's Degree in Food Science & Technology. In 2001 I graduated from Cornell University with a Master of Science in Food Science & Technology.
Between 2001-2004 I attended and graduated Baylor Law School, one of the nation's top trial advocacy schools, where I concentrated study in civil & criminal litigation as well as taking every elective available in intellectual property.
In November 2004 I was admitted to the State Bar of Texas. In 2009 I was admitted to the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas, where in 2010 I obtained my first not-guilty in a Federal Criminal trial. In 2014 I was admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark office (Registration number 72651) and admitted to practice by the Nebraska State Bar.
I am a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association, Texas Criminal Defense Lawyer's Association, National Trial Lawyer's Association, National Association of Patent Practitioners, as well as local bar associations.
