Mr. Asherson has served as a consultant to ABC TV Los Angeles News on immigration matters, most recently regarding international pop star Justin Bieber and his DUI arrest in Florida, and the potential immigration consequences he may face.

Ms. Darbinian has also been certified as an Immigration and Nationality Law Specialist by the State Bar of California's Board of Legal Specialization, which attests to her experience and expertise in the complicated field of immigration law. She has taken and passed an extensive examination, has fulfilled ongoing education requirements, and has been favorably evaluated by other attorneys and judges familiar with her commendable work.

Mr. Asherson, Ms. Darbinian, and the firm's associate attorneys are members of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) as well as the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA) and have developed strong relationships with their colleagues. As members of LACBA, both Mr. Asherson and Ms. Darbinian are active members of the Immigration and International Section Executive Committee and organize monthly luncheons for their peers with a different Consul General each month.
