Mark Johnson opened the Law Office of Mark B. Johnson in Andover, MA in 1986. The firm has grown from one attorney and one secretary to seven attorneys, six paralegals and a support staff of three. Mark and Don Borenstein, who joined the office in 1997, formed Johnson & Borenstein, LLC in 2005. Our team includes attorneys admitted to practice law in the State and Federal Courts of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, and the District of Columbia.

Our 100+ years combined experience enables us to handle real-estate based projects from the typical permitting case to those which are unusual or require a special understanding of unique legal areas. For complex title matters we use a reputable and experienced Land Court Title Examiner, with whom we have a 10+ year relationship, to ensure our clients get the best representation. In addition, we are agents for five different title insurance companies; this allows for creative title underwriting when necessary and a thorough understanding of the issues involved in title insurance defense.
