Stewart Greenblatt Manning & Baez serves as defense counsel to self-insured employers, insurance carriers, and those entities whose claims are overseen by third-party administrators. We represent our clients' interests in claims asserted before the New York State Workers' Compensation Board and in all other related matters. Additionally, we represent our clients in regard to appeals from Board Decisions to the Appellate Division and Court of Appeals of the State of New York, proceedings in Supreme Court in claims where third-party actions have been commenced both to protect an employer's lien and/or defend an employer who has been impleaded as a third-party defendant, and at inter-company arbitration proceedings under the Insurance Law.

Our firm appears at each hearing location of the Workers' Compensation Board in New York City, Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, and Rockland Counties in New York. Insofar as our Insurance Defense practice, we appear in all of the Courts located in each of these counties. We also appear and argue those cases in the First, Second, and Third Appellate Department, as well as the Court of Appeals.
