Atiya Myers Law Firm, PC

Atiya is an Atlanta native and the founder of Atiya Myers Law Firm. She attended the Tuskegee University and graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. At Tuskegee, she participated in many organizations as a student leader, including pledging Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. She always wanted to move to California after graduation. She followed that dream by taking a job as a designs engineer with Chevron Products Company.

At Tuskegee, she participated in many organizations as a student leader, including pledging Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. She always wanted to move to California after graduation. She followed that dream by taking a job as a designs engineer with Chevron Products Company.  After a few years working as an engineer, Atiya knew she wanted to have more of an impact on her community. She loved to work with people and advocate on their behalf. She decided law school was the right next step. She attended University of California, Irvine (UCI) School of Law on a full tuition scholarship. In law school, she spent three semesters in clinics, specifically she participated in the Intellectual Property, Arts, & Technology Clinic and the Startup & Small Business Clinic. Atiya participated in the summer associate program at an intellectual property firm for two summers and joined as an associate after graduating. Atiya's engineering background made her a perfect candidate for intellectual property law, specifically patent law. But Atiya craved to be more hands on with people and the excitement of the courtroom, so she transitioned to a smaller firm to develop her trial skills.
