Our founder and President, Denise A. Furubotten, has been in practice for more than 25 years and has represented thousands of clients throughout the State of California. She is admitted to practice in both State and Federal Courts and is currently a member of several regional Bar Associations. She is respected by the Courts and colleagues alike and is routinely appointed by the courts to represent children and adults in need of court-appointed services. Ms. Furubotten is a California native, has been married for 27 years and is the mother to four children. She received her undergraduate degree in Political Science from UCLA and her J.D. degree from Western State University College of Law where she won the American Jurisprudence Award for Legal Writing. Ms. Furubotten is the co-author of Effectively Managing a Solo Practice: Leading Lawyers on Balancing the Challenges and Rewards of Single-Partner Firms (Inside the Minds).
