Pros: The senior partners have trusted me enough to let me take the lead on many cases and projects that many young attorneys may not get the opportunity to do until later in their career. I've been assigned a wide variety of cases, in copyright, patent, trademark law, both in litigation and in transactional, as well as other related legal work, which I enjoy - I take pleasure in learning new things and solving new types of problems. They've given me support, they've always listened to my concerns, they've treated me with respect.

Cons: There's little opportunity for growth and advancement as it is a smaller firm. The other firm partners also have limited experience in patent law and in trial advocacy, which are areas I would like to progress more during my legal career.
