The United States Law Firm Group® (USLFG®) is a national group formed in 1984 and consisting of 17 established, independent U.S. firms that have strong relationships with each other. The member firms, each of which is a separate entity, have worked with each other for three decades and together now have over 6,000 lawyers in 176 offices in 31 leading industrial states, the District of Columbia and six foreign countries.
Variations in the laws and court systems of America's 50 states make knowledge of local and regional policies and practices essential. Each USLFG® firm is experienced in each jurisdiction in which it practices and is able to refer clients to other member firms to satisfy the clients' specific requirements throughout the country. Outside the United States, several USLFG® firms have offices and all firms have extensive experience with lawyers and law firms around the globe.
The Trustees and Alternate Trustees of the USLFG are leaders of the member firms. They meet twice a year to exchange ideas and experiences relating to law firm management, operational and other issues affecting law firms and the practice of law.
Members of each of the USLFG's existing committees, including the USLFG's practice area committees, its administrative committees and its diversity and women's lawyers committees, meet annually or semi-annually and confer between meetings regarding current legal and practice developments relevant to their respective committees.
For further information, including the retention of lawyers from the USLFG member firms, contact any Trustee, Alternate Trustee or the Executive Director.
The United States Law Firm Group®, Inc. is an Ohio nonprofit corporation. Each of the member firms in the USLFG is a separate entity that performs its own work independently for its clients and is solely responsible for the quality of its work.
