Founded in the fall of 1980 by Ralph R. Bouma, Jr. and John P. Martin in Wheaton, Illinois, Huck Bouma, PC began as a practice that concentrated principally in the areas of employee benefits, estate & tax planning, and real estate. As the firm grew through the addition of more attorneys and staff, it moved to larger offices in Glen Ellyn in 1984. James M. Huck, Jr. joined the firm as a transactional partner in 1988.In the 1990's the firm moved back to Wheaton and grew with the addition of established DuPage County attorneys such as Robert E. Jones and George Bradshaw.Since the early 2000s, the Firm has been managed by a team of shareholder/partners, some of whom added their practices from prior downtown Chicago and west suburban firms. Currently, the five shareholder/partners are Brett M. Dale, David D. O'Sullivan, William J. Strons, Russell A. Adkins and Aaron E. Ruswick.
