Mark Andrews began practicing law in 1981 and opened his own firm in 1990, where he took a concentration on mediation in 1998. He has also served as the President of the Charleston Bar. In 2009, Mark began performing mediations, arbitrations and litigations. Charlie Andrews began practicing law in 1984 and almost exclusively practiced in the family court areas until 1993, when she was elected by the South Carolina general assembly to be a family court judge. In 2010, after 17 years on the family court bench she joined Mark at Andrews Mediation & Law Firm, P.A. and left her position as a family court judge.
