Pros: Professional is the operative word here. The staff is very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. The supervisors are instructive and also patient when explaining ideas and practical matters.
Cons: Some of the cases we are presented with are difficult from a number of different perspectives.
Partners to Avoid and Why: All of the Partners are very helpful so I would not avoid any of them.
Current or former employee?: Current Employee
Job type: Full time
Pros: Working hard leads to recognition as well as bonuses and growth in the firm. You can get into court right away and hit the ground running, but there are mentors and other attorneys and staff you can lean on for information and support. Don't be afraid to call people even in other offices for advice. The benefits are great too.
Cons: As is the case for many types of law, Family Law can often require more time in (and out) of the office than a normal 9-5.
Partners to Avoid and Why: None, they are each great supports to rely on as well as others in management.

Pros: Competitive pay with great benefits, bonuses, awards, 401k match, 99% employee-paid healthcare with 20% for families... the list goes on and on. If you are interested in Family Law, this is the place to work. This firm is very client-focused and offers mentorship to gain well-rounded experience.
Cons: Family Law can be a troubling area of law to work in based on the high emotions and often difficult subject matters (juvenile, physical, and sexual abuse, etc).

Job type: Full time
Pros: Benefits! Health insurance 99% paid by the employer. Team environment. Always something to do and helping people through a difficult time in their life.
Current or former employee?: Current Employee
Job type: Full time
Pros: Supportive supervisor and team
Good pay and benefits
Partners to Avoid and Why: All that i have worked with are very approachable.
Current or former employee?: Current Employee
Job type: Full time
Pros: The only aspect that i enjoyed was leaving at the end of the day. There is a consistent and constant feeling of harassment over your hours. The team leader cared little to nothing about the cases. They only wanted to know about your time!
Cons: The constant harassment of your time. And the seemingly unwillingness to recognize that the amount of time produced is directly related to the number of cases. When i had forty cases, billing the required time was more reasonable than when i had 11 cases. Billing 30 hours weekly was nearly impossible with only 11 cases!
Partners to Avoid and Why: All of them!
Current or former employee?: Current Employee
