COMMITTED TO OUR COMMUNITY
Community service, including pro bono and volunteer service, is a core value at Ireland Stapleton. Access to justice is essential to promoting equality, it?s not only important, it is imperative. As attorneys, we have experience and knowledge that we can impart to individuals or non-profit organizations who are either unable to afford legal service or whose mission and ability to assist others would be diminished by the cost of such legal services.

In 2005, Ireland Stapleton associates and staff members established the Community Action Committee, a group that carries out an annual action plan for philanthropy and community service. The CAC has organized teams of Ireland Stapleton employees to build houses for Habitat for Humanity, to make blankets for the homeless, to collect school supplies and toothbrushes for needy children and canned goods for Food Bank of the Rockies.

In 2006, then Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper honored our late partner, Monte Pascoe, by establishing the Monte Pascoe Civic Leadership Award and the first award was given posthumously to Mr. Pascoe. Every year, the award is presented to a member of the community who has best demonstrated extraordinary service to improve the community or the world.
