BCG Attorney Search speaks with attorneys about law firms every day. Here is what attorneys are saying:

Dughi, Hewit & Domalewski is a law firm that is popular among those who are interested in pursuing law. According to reviews, the non-management support staff is friendly, and the firm offers vacation days like many other jobs. People who work at the firm have the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of law.

However, reviews also point out some of the negatives associated with the firm. Support staff and attorneys who do not have their names on the building are offered minimal raises, if any, and the date of reviews is constantly pushed back. Meanwhile, the owners enjoy the benefits of luxurious vacations and expensive cars. Furthermore, employees who work hard are not rewarded with promotions; rather, the firm hires from the outside where they can pay the new hire an extremely low wage.

Overall, reviews of Dughi, Hewit & Domalewski demonstrate that the firm is a good place to learn the ins and outs of law, but also that the firm does not reward hardworking employees with promotions or raises. The firm's owners, on the other hand, are able to enjoy the benefits of their wealth. As such, the reviews of Dughi, Hewit & Domalewski suggest that the firm is not the best place to work if you are looking for career growth and financial rewards.

Pros: I don't have anything positive to say about the place.

Cons: It is a toxic place where everyone is essentially unhappy. There is drama between the office staff and the attorneys. The partners bad mouth one another and the office manager is a gossip who has no interest in making sure the office runs smoothly.

Partners to Avoid and Why: Craig Domalewski, Esq, Herb Kruttschnitt, Esq. and Mark Petraske, Esq. None of these partners are looking to develop attorneys or create a firm environment. these guys are essentially looking to place blame on anyone who touches their files.

Current or former employee?: Current Employee

Job type: Full time
