OUR STORY
The story of Ellis & Winters is one of ingenuity, ambition and self-determination. In 2000, eleven lawyers from a leading national law firm formed a new premier firm in North Carolina. They created Ellis & Winters to provide exemplary legal representation through a select team of attorneys with the resources and knowledge base necessary to handle sophisticated legal concerns and the freedom to adapt dynamically to every client?s needs.

When Ellis & Winters was formed, our founders had already built strong reputations in their respective practice areas. They worked in various capacities as leaders in the legal industry, having served as national counsel for several multinational corporations.

Since our founding, our team has worked hard to enhance the firm?s reputation at the state, regional and national levels. We have tripled in size and have grown through the careful addition of both lateral and new attorneys, who have combined to improve our capabilities in handling sophisticated matters.
