Charles E. Fisher and Byron "Twig" Sauls, friends since attending law school together a decade earlier, founded Fisher & Sauls, P.A. in 1936. Each founding partner practiced in different areas of the law and believed clients could best be served by a firm that could provide comprehensive legal services by bringing together attorneys with a wide variety of practice experience and knowledge. Louie N. Adcock, Jr. joined the firm in 1956, providing his formidable knowledge and respected leadership to our Wills, Trusts and Estates Department for 61 years. And, although Charles, Twig, and Louie are now gone, the firm that they so skillfully developed continues to thrive and to advance in their honor. More than 80 years later, FISHER & SAULS, P.A. is still loyal to its founding principle that clients are best served by a firm that provides comprehensive legal services in a variety of practice areas by attorneys with proven skills and respected knowledge. As St. Petersburg and Pinellas County emerged from the Great Depression, Charles and Twig were active in the local business and civic community. The pair were involved in forming a savings and loan association and in government ? Charles as a Republican and Twig as a Democrat. Then and now, Fisher & Sauls, P.A. is a law firm that prides itself on dedication to our community and its residents. All of our attorneys are active in and passionate about public service.
