We saw the turn of the century, and we are now edging towards two decades as a firm. It has been an exciting journey for the Chambers family, and the journey continues.

Our story starts with me. On 1st July 1999, I started this firm on the 17th Floor of Plaza 138. The Petronas Twin Towers neared completion, Y2K loomed, and the nation was in the aftermath of the 1997 economic crisis. Yet, it was a great moment to have entered this foray at the scenic tree lined entrance into Jalan Ampang. For me, it was a new chapter of my life, and for the world, it was to enter a new millennia.

On 1st April 2005, we moved on. The destination was Wisma Genting, Jalan Sultan Ismail, the financial heart of Kuala Lumpur. It was a robust and lively location. The Pavilion, major city landmarks and the pulse of the city's nightlife were at our doorstep. In the middle of 2016, we moved on to our own premises in Q Sentral at KL Sentral. It was a splendorous location, with enviable views of the Lake Gardens and the Houses of Parliament, views that carried memories of my early life in this historic part of the city.

Reflecting now on the past, so much has happened. We have firmly positioned ourselves as a dynamic boutique practice. We are proud to host an influential client base of leading Malaysian companies, MNCs, PLCs, public institutions and statutory bodies in almost every sector of the economy. We maintained and built upon our traditional practice (in employment and industrial law and public law) and grew into a regional practice that can deliver services to our Clients globally.

We steadily established close alliances with like-minded firms in key jurisdictions and have been engaged for projects and assignments in Southeast Asia, across the Asia-Pacific Region, the Middle East, and Europe across a wide range of disciplines.

With this indomitable spirit, we had traversed successfully across a wide sphere of practice, ranging from the largest of infrastructure projects, board room tussles, acquisitions and mergers, industrial disputes, defamation proceedings and various other topical issues of our time - we were there. In doing so, we positioned ourselves as a practice that was able to support our clientele on the global stage, in significant cross border ventures.

We eagerly look forward to the future and remain grateful to the people and the clientele who have been with us on this journey - I thank you all, for the faith and trust that you have placed in me. Many of you have become friends, and we have shared both the personal and professional journeys of life together, and we have many a shared memory on important and defining moments.
