BARNES, WALKER, GOETHE, PERRON, & SHEA, PLLC, was established in 1995 at 3119 Manatee Avenue West in Bradenton, Florida, with two attorneys, Mr. Barnes and Mr. Walker and two staffers. Since that time, Barnes Walker has expanded to include eleven (11) attorneys, 34 staffers, and six (6) offices. The attorneys of our law firm have a combined experience of 215 years, and they practice in the areas of real estate sales and purchases, zoning & land use, homeowners and condominium associations, local government law, condemnation, wills, trusts, estate planning, probate, guardianship, elder law, business law, corporate, LLC, & partnership formation, business sales, business contracting, trademarks, contract disputes, creditor rights, employment claims, trust and will disputes, financial and securities fraud, real estate litigation, DUI cases, personal injury, and claims related to business disputes. Our law firm and affiliated title company, Barnes Walker Title, Inc., have closed over 16,000 real estate transactions since the firms' beginnings.

Real Estate Law. We assist clients with the purchase, sale, leasing, financing and refinancing of residential homes, commercial buildings, and acreage, as well as zoning, environmental and land use regulation, platting, subdividing, and other aspects of real estate development. BARNES WALKER is an agent for several of the country's largest title insurance companies, and our experience includes the representation of hundreds of residential, commercial and agricultural clients in the sale and purchase of lots, homes, commercial property, and thousands of acres of agricultural lands. This experience allows BARNES WALKER to close virtually all types of real estate and loan transactions from start to finish in a quick, thorough, and efficient manner. BARNES WALKER currently handles more real estate closings than any other law firm in Manatee County, Florida.

Estate Planning & Probate Law. We guide clients through the preparation of wills, living wills, powers of attorney, trusts, estate planning, and the administration of estates. BARNES WALKER attorneys provide advice to their clients about the various methods of asset disposition; the appointment of personal representatives, guardians, trustees, and attorneys in fact; and the establishment of trusts.

Business Law. We help clients with the formation and merger of LLCs, corporations, general and limited partnerships, and other business entities; the acquisition and sale of business enterprises; the acquisition and protection of intellectual property rights; and the representation of clients in their ongoing business affairs. BARNES WALKER's experience in these areas includes, but is not limited to, the negotiation and preparation of shareholder, partnership, operating, and noncompetition agreements and the obtaining of state trademarks, service marks and tradenames.

Litigation.
