The law firm of Cullen, Haskins, Nicholson & Menchetti P.C. was founded by George Cullen in 1962. Since that time, the firm has represented injured workers before the Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission, formerly known as the Illinois Industrial Commission.

The firm has long played a role in drafting and promoting the changes in the workers' compensation laws that we now have. The firm serves as technical advisor to the State Federation of Labor regarding proposed changes to the Illinois Workers' Compensation Act.

Our firm has always stood in the forefront of the effort to protect the rights of injured workers. We have fought many battles over the years with the business and insurance interests which have continually attempted to deny or reduce benefits to injured workers in order to increase their bottom line at the expense of those workers.

The attack on the rights of injured workers has never been worse or more intense than at the present time. Cullen, Haskins, Nicholson & Menchetti P.C. will continue the fight to protect those rights as it has done since the firm was founded. Over the years our firm has handledthousands of cases for injured workers, many of them complex and unique. Our attorneys have appeared in numerous cases on behalf of workers before the Workers' Compensation Commission Division of the Appellate Court of Illinois and have appeared before the Illinois Supreme Court.

All of the attorneys at the firm are active in organizations in the legal community including the American Association of Justice, the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the Workplace Injury Litigation Group and the Illinois Workers' Compensation Lawyers Association. Both Chuck Haskins and Dave Menchetti have served with distinction as president of the Illinois Workers' Compensation Lawyers Association. Jose Rivero is proud to serve on the board of managers of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association.
