We are a specialty firm with 90 percent of our practice comprised of insurance defense litigation and 10 percent dedicated to protecting creditors' rights and assets. As part of our insurance defense practice, we also directly represent insurance companies in areas ranging from bad faith claims to coverage opinions and declaratory actions, as well as all potential claims made directly against insurance companies.

Our attorneys are experienced litigators, working almost exclusively for insurance companies and their insureds in all areas of tort liability. Together, our partners bring with them over 100 years' combined experience with many awarded the highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards by Martindale-Hubbell. Our attorneys have litigated in all of Kentucky's 120 counties, as well as all federal district and bankruptcy courts in Kentucky, the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals and multiple other jurisdictions outside of Kentucky.

Great attention is paid to every file and we pride ourselves in maintaining close contact with each client and claims handler. Our full-time paralegals are trained for the specific demands of litigation and trial. These paralegals are experienced in assisting the attorneys in all areas of litigation, including, but not limited to, the preparation of witnesses, obtaining experts, coordination of discovery, review of medical records and trial preparation and assistance.
