The firm was founded in 1923 in Fitchburg by the late A. Andre Gelinas who was a Special Justice in the Fitchburg District Court and District Attorney for Worcester County, among many other legal, political and community endeavors with whom the late Bernard D. Ward joined in 1942 to form Gelinas & Ward.
