Willkie Farr & Gallagher is committed to compensating associates at a level commensurate with its peer firms.

Core compensation and benefits include:

Salary of $160,000 per year for first year associates
Lock-step associate compensation system
Bonus typically provided to all associates in good standing
Four weeks of paid vacation each year
Salary advance to all incoming associates
Reimbursements for moving expenses, bar review courses, bar examination fees and bar association dues

Willkie associates and counsel who are primary caregivers are eligible for up to 18 weeks of paid parental leave. A new parent is also permitted to request up to 18 weeks of unpaid leave following the birth or adoption of a child, for a total combined leave time of up to 36 weeks (9 months).
