The name "HAVER & MAIL?NDER" stands for far more than merely tradition and expertise. It stands for real emotion. Ever since the firm was founded by Dr. Friedrich Haver (? 1976) and Prof. Dr. Karl-Peter Mail?nder in 1965, we have been fully attuned to the individual needs of our clients. As a medium-sized law firm we consciously place a different emphasis on personal cooperation with our clients to that of a large firm. The first point of contact at Haver & Mail?nder is always the partner who is responsible for the client because personal contact is the precondition for cooperation in a spirit of trust. Our firm currently has 30 attorneys who work at the highest level of competence. Sincerity, industriousness, loyalty and discretion are the characteristics that determine our understanding of values. The close exchange within specialized teams enhances our togetherness and is indispensable for us to obtain optimum results for our clients. As is our membership in the renowned Law Firm Network which ensures that we maintain an excellent international network and enables us to think, advise and act globally. Moreover, nearly all our lawyers have studied or practised law in foreign jurisdictions. It is precisely this breadth of experience which we apply day by day in our work for our clients.


Internationalism

Our clients' entrepreneurial activities both abroad and in all kinds of cross-border transactions regularly involve contacts with different rules of law. At the same time, we also accompany several of our foreign clients in their activities and possible disputes in Germany. An understanding of trans-national, European and international aspects of the law, the training several of our lawyers have undergone abroad, and our international networking have traditionally been strengths of our law firm. For decades now, HAVER & MAIL?NDER has been a member of the Law Firm Network, with members from over forty select law firms world-wide. We have enjoyed a relationship of trust with these and other commercial law firms abroad for many years so that we can also guarantee excellent advice on foreign law too.
