Hodges Walsh & Burke, LLP concentrates its practice on the defense of civil litigation claims, representing and protecting the interests of domestic and international corporations, municipalities, police agencies, insurance carriers and their assureds in the state and federal courts throughout New York and Connecticut in addition to multiple venues throughout the nation.

Our attorneys have extensive experience in every facet of litigation involving product liability, asbestos, pharmaceutical and medical devices, toxic tort, civil rights and municipal claims, as well as general negligence claims and insurance coverage issues.

Our office is located in White Plains, Westchester County, New York, just north of New York City. Our attorneys appear regularly on behalf of our clients in all of the boroughs of New York City and Long Island, as well as all counties north of New York City, and in the Southern, Eastern and Northern Districts of the Federal Court in New York. Several of our partners are also admitted in Connecticut and/or New Jersey.

Nationally, within the past year alone, attorneys in our firm have been admitted pro hac vice to represent clients in litigation brought in many other jurisdictions, including Florida, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Alabama and Oregon.

George Hodges, our Senior Partner, served as President of the International Association of Defense County (IADC) in 2004-2005 and as a member of The Board of Directors of the Defense Research Institute (DRI) and Lawyers for Civil Justice (LCJ) between 2003-2006. In addition to the IADC and DRI, our attorneys are active in a number of legal organizations including the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys (ADTA); the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel (FDCC); the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA), the Defense Association of New York (DANY), the Westchester County Bar Association (WCBA) and the Westchester County Women's Bar Association (WCWBA).
