Mr. Bycer holds degrees in physics and business-economics from Brown University. Before law, Mr. Bycer was a technical consultant for Accenture, where he worked on large software installation projects, working with ERP solutions such as SAP and Oracle for large corporate clients such as GE, Boston Scientific and EMC2. In pursuit of patent law, Mr. Bycer returned to Arizona to earn a joint JD/MBA from the University of Arizona, where he worked in the physical sciences department of the UA Office of Technology Transfer. In addition, Mr. Bycer spent time as an extern in the chambers of Chief Judge Stephen M. McNamee, District Court of Arizona, and assisted in the resolution of a complex patent litigation dispute in the field of aeronautics. Mr. Bycer conducts patent consulting and patent landscaping, and has run an exploratory patent research project involving optical disk storage technologies. Mr. Bycer has years of experience in patents and intellectual property with experience in technological and industrial areas including medical devices, exercise equipment, sporting equipment, pharmaceuticals, toys, software, construction, motor mechanics, electrical engineering. Mr. Bycer obtains, defends and enforces intellectual property for businesses innovators and inventors. Mr. Bycer is a member of Phi Kappa Psi fraternity and a life member of Sigma Xi, scientific research society. In addition to patents, Mr. Bycer enjoyed a short stint as a rugby player and currently enjoys skiing, golf and gardening.
