Theresa J. Macellaro, Esq. is a litigator and trial attorney who received her B.A. degree from Ivy League Smith College and her J.D. from New York University School of Law, a top five law school. She began her law practice in New York at the nation's top law firm, Cravath, Swaine & Moore, where she learned her litigation skills. She had an internship with Rudolph Giuliani at the U.S. Attorney's Office (S.D.N.Y.) and she externed with Federal Court Judge Peter K. Leisure. Ms. Macellaro focused on entertainment litigation when she worked at Lavely & Singer, and was a Litigation Partner at Christensen, Miller, Fink, Jacobs, Glaser, Weil & Shapiro, L.L.P. She is a graduate of the prestigious Trial Advocacy Program and was a Faculty Teacher of litigation skills at Rutgers Law School. Her clients have ranged from motion picture studios and celebrities to Fortune 500 companies and municipalities. In 2004, Ms. Macellaro formed The Macellaro Firm in order to fill a niche of providing excellent, large-firm quality legal services at a price that smaller businesses can afford.
