Zu'bi & Partners

Zu'bi & Partners is the product of the 2012 merger of two successful law firms: Hatim S. Zu'bi & Partners and Qays H. Zu'bi Attorneys & Legal Consultants.

Hatim S. Zu'bi & Partners was founded in 1971, making it the oldest established local law firm in Bahrain (as opposed to offices of overseas law firms or practising individual lawyers). There are clients who were with the firm from its earliest days who continue to be Zu'bi & Partners clients today.

The founder, Hatim S Zu'bi, a Barrister-at-Law, licensed to practice as Advocate in Jordan, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Qatar, Sultanate of Oman and Bahrain, established the firm, building on the legacy of his late father Sharif Ali Zu'bi, who had been a leading lawyer practising throughout the Middle East region since 1921.

Qays H. Zu'bi Attorneys & Legal Consultants was founded in 2001 by Qays H. Zu'bi, an attorney practising law in Bahrain since 1981, quickly establishing itself as a major player in the finance, corporate, commercial and other sectors, with clients which are frequently leaders in their fields, spearheading the development of Bahrain and the wider region. Since its inception, the firm was consistently listed in the top tier of law firms in the region by all leading independent legal directories and periodicals.

Both companies benefitted from highly experienced lawyers who have trained and practised in a wide variety of countries and sectors. The merger of the two firms means that today Zu'bi & Partners, a fourth-generation family firm, are able from their base in Manama, Bahrain to offer experience, expertise and service excellence at both a local, regional and international level, to clients in almost any sector.
