Darae was established by former patent court judges, former technical examiners and former adjudicators at the Patent Tribunal as an IP specialized law firm in 1999. The growth of Darae which was established at the time the term "intellectual property" was even unfamiliar resembles the growth of the IP field in Korea. We have prevailed in many IP related lawsuits for last 20 years and have been recognized to stand unchallenged in the field relating to domestic and overseas IP rights to deserve our fame. In the past, IP related work mostly consists of IP applications. Our legal services are initially based on the idea of putting forward the starting point of IP related work before the filing of applications to be of substantial assistance to corporations. To meet our motto, "IP Total Services," we work as a team of experts in law and technology in all areas of IP rights, including counseling, application, litigation and consulting, and create a new history for IP rights in and outside Korea. Our firm members providing total IP services including counseling, litigation and consulting consist of professionals specialized in each of the mechanical, electrical, chemical, biotechnology, trademark and design fields. With the balance of lawyers and patent attorneys specialized in their respective fields, we are holding a prominent position in the IP field from the establishment of our firm up to now. We will suggest a new path of law firm specialized in global IP rights in the U.S., China, Australia, Japan, etc. as well as in Korea.
