Bhering Advogados is an independent law firm founded in 1978, in Rio de Janeiro, specializing in Intellectual Property and related matters, including trademarks, patents, industrial design, copyright and neighboring rights, information technology law, enforcement against counterfeiting and unfair competition, licensing, transfer of technology and IP litigation.

It represents domestic companies and foreign multinational corporations, particularly companies based in the U.S.A, Europe and Asia and their Brazilian subsidiaries belonging to various industrial sectors, such as automotive, chemical, biotech, aviation, engineering, pharmaceutical, sports, entertainment, telecommunications, software, fashion, among others.

The firm's policy is to provide personalized assistance to clients. We strive to be proactive and to ensure that we have full knowledge of the client's business.

Our main office is located in Rio de Janeiro, strategically close to the headquarters of the Brazilian Patent and Trademark Office (PTO). The S?o Paulo branch opened in 2004 and offers assistance in all fields of Intellectual Property to the subsidiaries of our foreign and domestic clients based in said region, which is the country's main business center. The Curitiba branch was opened in late 2003 to provide services to our domestic and foreign clients located in the States of Paran?, Santa Catarina, and Rio Grande do Sul, a region with a heavy concentration of industries.

With branch offices in the cities of S?o Paulo and Curitiba, in addition to our main office in Rio de Janeiro, Bhering Advogados has a strong presence in the main Brazilian industrial regions.
