C&T Partners is one of the law firms fairly early established in Chinese mainland area. With the spirits of persistent diligence, high profession and peerless excellence, we have been dedicated to provide our domestic and abroad clients with top-level legal services on commerce and litigations for decades. We now have been widely recognized as a leading law firm in Jiangsu with part of our practices leaping into the front rank of Chinese legal profession. In the year of 1984, Jiangsu Foreign Economic Law Office, the predecessor of C & T Partners, was founded upon approval of the Ministry of Justice of the People's Republic of China. Being the first firm named after "law office" in Jiangsu, Jiangsu Foreign Economic Law Office was under the direct administration of the Department of Justice of Jiangsu Province. Mr. Wang Yang was the first director of our law firm, who concurrently held the posts of Secretary General of Jiangsu Law Society, Chief of Social and Legal Affairs Committee of Jiangsu Political Consultative Conference and Deputy to the National People' s Congress. The subsequent director of our law firm was Mr. Zhang Guoping who once was the Deputy Director of Jiangsu Law Society, one of First Top Ten Excellent Lawyers of China and a present PhD tutor. In 1997, Jiangsu Foreign Economic Law Office was renamed into Jiangsu Tongren Law Office. In 2000, Tongren Law office was transformed into a partnership law firm concurrently renamed into C&T Partners. At present, Mr. Wang Fan, the former Deputy Director of All China Lawyers Association and present Director of Jiangsu Lawyers Association is the director of our law firm.
